THE AMERICAN DREAM

George Denis Patrick Carlin (May 12, 1937 – June 22, 2008) was an American stand-up comedian, social critic, actor and author, who won five Grammy Awards for his comedy albums.[23]
Carlin was noted for his black humor as well as his thoughts on politics, the English language, psychology, religion, and various taboo subjects.

This is a very lucid piece of speech from his show "Life is worth losing". The translation is very mild not to hurt the most sensitive souls.

If you like this, try "The Ten Commandements" ," On Fat People" or any other item from this showman - already dead- on Youtube.

Another video on San Francisco

If you come, to San Francisco,
You should wear... some flowers in your head.
If you come, to San Francisco.

San Francisco is the city where the hippie movement was born and this song represents the period.
The gay movement rights and the development of the IT - Information Technology, are other landmarks of this blessed city.                             This is a bike ride around the city filmed by the same person as the video on "The City", also in this blog.Interesting excursion around the city accompanied by "The Who".

Video of the city of San Francisco made by a friend of mine. Enjoy it.

THE DEATH OF STEVE JOBS

Steve Jobs, Apple co-founder and the "guru" of digital technology- has died at the age of 56 at the same time that Apple was presenting to the world its new product: The IPhone 4 S.
Apart from the obvious stature as a visionary entrepreneur is the human factor of a remarkable man what I would like to point out.
His speech at Stanford University in 2005 is a delicious piece of honesty and self -disclosure.
Recomendable to watch.
